European Basketball Week 2020 (#EBW2020)—now in its 17th year—takes place from 28 November to 6 December.
This year, Special Olympics European Basketball Week has to be different but that doesn’t mean it can’t be as inclusive as ever. We want players across Europe to support each other, connect and show us their basketball moves—both on the courts when it’s safe and online using #EverythingCounts!
Backed by FIBA Europe and Euroleague Basketball One Team, Special Olympics European Basketball Week is a celebration of the power of sport to unify and break down barriers. This year, it’s anticipated that 7,000 players with and without intellectual disabilities in 15 countries will be able to come together for over 100 local, regional, national and virtual basketball events.
