We asked four Special Olympics athletes who recently got vaccinated for COVID-19 what would make vaccination clinics more friendly and inclusive. Here’s what they had to say:

A new study from Jefferson Health shows that after the elderly, people with intellectual disabilities are at the greatest risk of death from COVID-19. That’s why Special Olympics and Jefferson Center for Autism and Neurodiversity worked together on this video, recognizing that it’s vitally important to provide a positive and inclusive vaccination experience for people with intellectual disabilities.
