Leadership Council members from all 6 Programs as well as guest speakers from SOI participated in the 2018 East Asia Leadership Council meeting held in Hong Kong from 20 to 22 March.
In addition to the updates of latest Special Olympics East Asia regional development, in-depth sharing and discussions around strategic plan implementation, 2018 action plan, social media, fundraising, 50th Anniversary celebration, health and fitness as well as Program Quality Standards adoption updates occured during the meeting.
For the first time ever, an athlete leader led a session in briefing Global Input Council and consulting advices on Global Athlete Congress topics at our RLC meeting. Meeting participants were also able to participate in the 42th SOHK badminton competition and enjoyed a great time along with our athletes.
