Inclusion Revolution Radio podcast host, Novie Craven, and co-host, Josh Basile, from accessiBe have teamed up to release a podcast mini-series highlighting the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
In this week’s episode, Josh and Novie spoke with Sarah Jane Borchert, Manager of Translation for Easy Language for the Special Olympics World Games. Because the World Games brings so many people, cultures, and languages together, translation is incredibly important for all participants. During the World Games, Easy Language will be utilized in nearly all fields, for example the signage, different parts of the website, and the athlete's handbook will all be in some variant of Easy Language. Using Easy Language encourages inclusion and accessibility because it allows everyone to participate and provides access to crucial Games information.
Be sure to listen to this week’s episode of Inclusion Revolution Radio to learn more about Sarah Jane Borchert, her role with Easy Language, and how it will be utilized at the World Games to create a more accessible atmosphere.
