“I wish our politicians in Africa could all be athletes first, because as an athlete what happens is you learn how to win gracefully, and you learn how to lose gracefully. You learn how to work with a team. You learn how to be under authority. All those things are so important in leadership. That’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about athletics, because I believe that the sports ground is a breeding ground for great leadership."
A series of video interviews between youth leaders in Africa Region and their personal heroes showcase the best of inclusion across society, from the sports field to the classroom, the work place and even the performance stage. Find out more
