Special Olympics Africa Region and Ethiopian Airlines have joined together to put on the 19th annual Africa Leadership Conference from 18 – 20 September in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The conference is set to take place for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic as Ethiopian Airways Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Special Olympics to signify Ethiopian Airlines as the official carrier of the delegates attending the 2023 Africa Leadership Conference.
The three-day conference will be held at the Ethiopian Airways Skylight Hotel and will welcome more than 100 delegates from 36 participating countries. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend sessions on local program development, program governance and government relations where they will learn more about program data collection and analysis, marketing, communications and many other related topics. The three days will also be filled with opportunities for delegates to come together and share with one another what they have learned and found most informative in their respective Programs, countries and regions.
