Special Olympics International Global Ambassador Apolo Ohno, three-time Olympian in short track speed skating, expressed his excitement for the World Winter Games 2022 Kazan on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show (Stars Channel 109). He also discussed the importance of the Special Olympics movement and why health screenings for Special Olympics athletes is so crucial.
Ohno has been a long-time supporter of Special Olympics. In 2012, he participated in the Special Olympics Japan Opening Ceremonies for their Winter National Games. Subsequently, he has attended several World Games and held skate clinics at various international events.
