For the Special Olympics Global Week of Inclusion July 2021, OFFLINE by Aerie featured five athletes from Special Olympics Pennsylvania in a fashion photoshoot as part of their yearly campaign to support Special Olympics. To kick off the event, international champion gymnast Aly Raisman sent this surprise welcome video to the models.

As part of Aerie’s on-going partnership with Special Olympics, the clothing company has featured five new athletes each year. Meet the athlete-models of 2021.
Kallie loves being a part of the team. She plays on Special Olympics Unified Sports® basketball and volleyball teams, and also loves swimming. With well-rounded interests, Kallie also participates in adaptive rowing, hiking, art classes and Mandarin lessons. She works in a prep kitchen for restaurant costumers.
Savannah finds competitive sports both thrilling and fun. You can catch her on the track or basketball court. Still in high school, she attends a Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® where her favorite subjects are reading and math. For a little rest and relaxations, Savannah enjoys watching zombie movies.
Emma is an all-around athlete who has competed in track & field, swimming, soccer, basketball and bowling. When she is not racking up the accolades like being named Homecoming Queen back in high school and winning Westmoreland County YWCA Sportswoman of the Year in 2015, Emma likes telling camp stories and making s’mores around the campfire.
Megan’s favorite sport is basketball but she also participates in soccer, swimming, and track & field. Through Special Olympics, she has met many friends including her boyfriend. Megan has brought inclusion to the culinary world by graduating from the CCAC culinary program and by prepping meals and making pizza at a local food market.
Kaylie’s motto is “Try hard, play hard & have fun!” That is certainly her approach to ice hockey, track & field and baseball. This high school sophomore is not one to keep still. If she is not outside shooting hoops, you can find her singing and dancing to songs on her iPad.
