School of Strength Featured on NBC’s TODAY Show

On 25 March, NBC’s TODAY Show hosts Al Roker and Craig Melvin featured the brand new Special Olympics School of Strength fitness campaign in a new segment called #UpliftTODAY, designed to spread positivity. On the morning School of Strength launched, TODAY Show viewers got a preview of the free workout video series led by WWE superstar Becky Lynch and Special Olympics athletes. The free video series has 30-minute workouts for varying levels of strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.

Special Olympics teamed up with WWE to create School of Strength. Roker also directed viewers to the campaign website, where they can access additional materials, including a fitness tracker, meal planning guide, healthy recipes, games, and tools for sports coaches and caregivers of people with intellectual disabilities. All School of Strength resources are free to all users.
