The first-ever Special Olympics Pan African Games took place in Cairo Egypt in January 2020.

Special Olympics Chief Health Officer Dr. Alicia Bazzano and Chief of Sport and Competition Lou Lauria were guests on Sports Byline USA’s internet radio show “Titillating Sports,” hosted by Rick Tittle. They covered a wide range of topics including how games and health services are being delivered virtually while athletes around the world are social distancing.
