A few months ago, Special Olympics Arizona golfer Amy Bockerstette became the sweetheart of the PGA tour when she made par with PGA champs Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar on the 16thhole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Since then, she and Woodland have remained friends. He took this Facetime call with Amy during media questions after he collected his trophy as the U.S. Open winner on June 16.

According to Woodland, this is not the first time he has gotten a heartfelt message from Amy. “I've had the pleasure to continue to speak with her. She sent me a nice video when I got sick and had to pull out of Wells Fargo. She sent me an amazing birthday video, singing happy birthday to me. She's a special girl, special parents, and it's nice to call her a friend.”
