Special Olympics has been named a winner in the 2023 PRNEWS Awards in the Corporate/Nonprofit Partnership & Diversity and Inclusion Campaign categories.
Special Olympics, in partnership with Microsoft, created opportunities for those with intellectual disabilities through hands-on training to host and ‘shoutcast’ during the Gaming for Inclusion broadcast on the Xbox Twitch channel.
In addition to creating three leadership opportunities for Special Olympics athletes, the program featured six celebrities with over 500K viewers tuned-in to watch on Twitch.
