2018 SOEA Regional Floorball Coach Training was held at Gangneung GNJ Sports from June 18 - 22. Twenty floorball coaches from SOEA programs (SOK, SOC, SOMGL, SOCT, SOM, SOHK) learned about What Special Olympics is and characteristics of people with intellectual disabilities during the training.
In addition, the coaches took the course of floorball theory and had a demonstration session. The importance of the floorball coach training to recruit new coaches has been emphasized, as the need for the professional floorball coaches is expected to increase in the future.
During the 5-day-training, the participating coaches developed their skills and shared technical know-how together through the interaction.
