Ten years ago, pro-golfer Padraig Harrington joined Special Olympics as a Global Ambassador and has remained a constant presence ever since. After joining in 2010, he has offered guidance by hosting golf clinics for athletes and coaches, and continues to provide support by attending competitions.
Born in Dublin, Padraig became the first Irish golfer to win a major championship since Fred Daly in 1947. His many titles include two British Open championships and a Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) championships. He is capping off his 10-year anniversary at Special Olympics by sharing expertise in this series of videos in which he answers athlete and coaches questions about golfing strategies and techniques.
