My name is Tyler Downs. I graduated from Durant High School in Lithia, Florida, in 2024. I have returned to Durant as a 12+ student in Choice Academy, where I will spend two years learning work skills and hopefully finding employment. My first experience with Special Olympics was in 9th grade when I joined the Durant Unified sports team. I play flag football and compete in track events. I spend a lot of my time at Durant promoting inclusion and making many new friends in the Buddies Club.
